Divorce Appraisal
A Divorce Appraisal speeds negotiations, and usually can be performed by a mutual divorce appraiser representing both sides. A divorce appraiser may appraise all property and it can be appraised and divided according to the value between the couple, or the real and personal property assets can be sold and money divided, or one spouse can “buy out” the other spouse who would prefer to have cash.
A real estate appraiser is not qualified to automatically appraise personal property. Oftentimes it requires both a real property and personal property appraiser to adequately appraise all property owned by the couple.
